Privacy and account controls

Your account details, followed interests, saved items, and reading activity help us provide and personalize PodPulse. Comments you post can be visible to other readers.

Sign-in and payments

Clerk provides website sign-in. Stripe processes Premium payments. PodPulse uses your subscription status to provide plan benefits. See Clerk’s privacy information and Stripe’s privacy information for their services.

Your newsletter is optional

We use your delivery address and interests to prepare the briefing you choose. The free edition includes an invitation to explore Premium. Change your frequency or turn briefings off in newsletter preferences. Every briefing includes an unsubscribe link. Authentication and payment messages are managed separately.

Storage, providers and external content

The app stores account preferences and activity, and uses hosting, email delivery, and AI providers to operate the service. Browser storage keeps sessions, appearance preferences, and player state. Operational logs and configured usage analytics help diagnose failures. Playing embedded videos, loading publisher media, or opening source links connects to those providers, whose privacy practices apply to their services.

Manage or delete your account

Use Profile to change preferences, send a privacy question through feedback, or request account deletion. Deletion cancels active subscriptions before removing the identity and app data. Processing retries when a provider is unavailable. Payment providers, operational records, and backups can have separate retention requirements; deletion is not a promise of immediate removal from every backup or provider record.
